Today on XM-80's Channel 8 the host Candy mentioned the upcoming PRINCE album and tour "3121". she said there had been talk or information "leaked" that there will be SURPRISE GUESTS on the tour. The names mentioned were SHEILA E., MORRIS DAY and The TIME as well as WENDY and LISA. She also said check out PRINCE'S NPGMusicClub.com site for more updates.

I haven't seen any postings regarding this issue. Has anyone here on prince.org heard or are familiar with this story?

If this is true I am very excited about the new tour.

She also siad that the tour starts in the summer, the album will be out in February and that the new single "Te Amo Corizon" is out and is GREAT.

npgmc is a joke -- where u hear it first, eh? problem is, they try to keep everything so secretive with cryptic notes passed around like a giddy group of giggling school girls... or PPs as they're known... that by the time they're ready to "reveal" this awesome hidden "enigma," it's already been spoiled -- way past the date of freshness, souring our tongues and sickening our stomachs

The problem is that official sources like the NPGMC always hold it back first, because when the announcement is made of course is part of the masterplan, so to speak. That's why I don't get the criticism of the club in that regard most of the time. For all we know, things are still being worked out. Somewhere in the project there is somebody talking to someone else and leaking information/rumours and then we bitxh why we didn't hear it from the club first.
