why does the second contract, etc. get more tricker to understand? if someone signs a contract, they recieve money upfront? why do they recieve money upfront? after signing the contract, why do the artists have to pay back the music labels if they lets say their contract said they will make x amount of x amount of albums? how can one own/regain their publishing rights? if someone covers a song, who gets paid? please answer these and any other questions pertaining to the record companies. | |
