I enjoy Prince's sense of humor. News: Prince pulls his head out his ass in the last moment.
Bad News: Prince wasted too much quality time doing so. You have those internalized issues because you want to, you like to, stop.

the 'kent' in-joke kinda fell flat on its arse during the music and more interview. but i guess thats because we weren't one of the 'insiders' so to speak.

Prince is a very funny guy but his humour is quite obtuse and wry. I can see how some people just don't get him, especially during interviews. I think his sense of humour comes across best onstage. Saying that, he seemed to have had a sense of humour bypass when Holly Johnson joked about having had phone sex with him at the Brit Awards in the 80's! Time is a trick....

At the Brit Awards in 1984 Holly Johnson of Frankie Goes to Hollywood presented Princes award for Purple Rain and before P came to the stage he made a referenc e to Lets go crazy lyric(I picked up the phone dropped it on the floor, aah,aah was all I heard). He joked that he'd had phone sex with him. P's face was like thunder as he walked up to accept his award and he came across as having no sense of humour. Holly Johnson is an overtly gay man so maybe that had something to do with it. Time is a trick....

- Hahaha....that was funny! Yes, it seems Prince only has some sense of humour when HE is in control...like the joke he did with Jay Leno, or stuff like ´Pretty Man´ lyrics... I liked the story he told at a radio interview about Stevie Wonder holding his hand while listening to a song...it wasn´t a joke, but he told it in a very nice and funny way....

Was it funny or not, or maybe U didn't get it. he always cracks jokes in interviews, (as long as he is happy with the host and he is respected). i think he is funny he makes me laugh because his jokes just come out of no where, you dont expect them! a couple of funnies i recall at the top of my head oprah mentions if he feels he has grown or something and then prince stands up and sais.. no im pretty much the same size another i forget how or where it happened, but it went something like this: prince just walked onto the set and someone said something about how he doesnt talk much or do many interviews. He interupts with this super squeeky high voice and sais the reason i dont do interviews is because my voice is so high! i think he is funny You saw the apple
