"Dionne" from The Truth acoustic album is one of Prince's most beautifully constructed songs of all time! The lyrics are so introspective, melancholy, self-reflective and sweet. It's about placing blame in a failed relationship where at first you find fault in the other person then realize that maybe you should look in the mirror. My ex-girlfriend (irony) any I would play this song over and over. The clever sounds, complex guitar arrangements, strange notes, italian? cabaret references and quirky keyboards add to the unique tone. His vocals and the vocal arrangement are amazing.

"Dionne" and "Dont Play Me" are my favotites from this album

I like this song a lot but many consider it to be the second weakest on the album (Animal Kingdon being the obvious number 1 choice).

personally, i think this album is a career highlight with an
amazing array of excellent, strong material.

i play it regularly and Dionne has always been one of my fav
tracks. altho they are all equally good.

I loved this one from the first time I heard it. It's very pretty and has that whimsical, walk in the country feel to it. The whole album is clssic imo.

I love this song. It's very haunting and crazy all at once to me. The way the music is and the lyrics combined make this one a winner.

The best song on the album is still Comeback. Beautiful.
