december said: Just noticed that in Love Song it says: Time goes by so slowly for those who wait
And if we take a look at Madge's latest single we see: Time goes by so slowly... I'm tired of waiting for you. Coincidence? It looks like a Dan Brown mystery Scroll up - beat you to it

I think it's a testament to both artists that they would create a beautiful, haunting, quirky, dark and "anti" love song in the face of pop superstardom. This song will continue to be discovered by many ipoders for decades instead of forced down people's throat through the payola hitmaking machine.
Prince did the same thing with Gwen Stefani (No Doubt) with the equally interesting "Waiting Room." Prince does sexual tension, longing and emotional abandonment better that any "emo" artist out there.

I really like the song. I think it works best on Like A Prayer and to hear their voices together was just a cool combination. I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

She recycled the lyrics on Hung Up on purpose. She also took a lot of themes from her other albums for Confessions.
It's fun to find them. She redid a little bit of "Frozen" and "Secrets" on the song "Issac." She said she also knows she has two songs called Forbidden Love. Which is kinda col, because the songs deal with the same theme, but it's like the Confessions version is a reinterpetation with a different mood. If you also notice on the Erotica track "Bye Bye Baby," she alluded to Love Song. She repeats the the line.. "This is not a love song..."

The lyrics 'Don't cry for me...' in the bridge also remind me of one of her old tunes. But back to 'Hung Up' with a few bits from her old songs, a tidy slice of ABBA, and a good producer, one might ask just how much effort (on the part of Madge herself) goes into a new Madonna single these days.

You know, I just noticed the "..Don't Cry For Me.". as in Evita...
