Wycleff would be a good producer 4 Prince! Why?
His beats r strong and his arrangments are quite diverse; works across styles. He's in touch w/ the masses. I think he could give Prince more of a "world" sound. Perhaps he could bring Prince out of the "mirror mirror on the wall" phase of funk in2 the "my balls do sweat as well" groove. Hope ya'll can dig.

I dig Wycleff alot! I was at the "Million More Movement" this past year and witnessed his magic up close and personal, actually have it on video. So I think a collaboration with him and Prince would be awesome!! Don't see it happening but hey it's a lovely dream! There's nothing wrong with dreams because as Prince has said, "Hold fast to your dreams because dreams become the life you lead!" [Edited 1/14/06 13:52pm]

Maybe in the 90s... nowadays Wyclef isn't even a good producer for Wyclef.

thanks..... Why is this a joke? Because of Wycleff himself or because Prince is 2 high and mighty 2 lower himself to the mortals of the world and include their input in his art. That's cool: Prince will write songs for ever1, even produce them; but God forbid he allow their creativity in2 his work.

True 2 b honest, listening 2 Prince as long as I have, I honestly never expect him 2 do such a thing. I also accept him and his music as I have for all these years. I guess the real point is that, other than 2 the ppl within his fold, it wouldn't hurt opening up a bit.

I would caution against artist trying to work with producers to try to desperately get a hit. It can backfire. Look at the Invincible record which cost several million dollars to produce(sp?) and it was a flop. I think that artist should just be themselves and do what inspires them. Regardless if it makes the charts or not.

i agree 100% ... but many feel as if Prince's music is getting weaker. perhaps this is due 2 his un willing ness 2 open up a bit; that's all ya'll.
