Can anyone tell me when the last time Prince was interviewed in these two magazines(they are both very good english music magazines)and if he made the cover of them if he was??...I think that he was interviewed in Q the year of Musicology but I do not know the month and I am not sure if he was interviewed by Mojo at all around the same time...I would appreciate any and every help,so that I can go to my local library and smile with pride.

I think the last real Prince-Interview in "Q" was published in 1997/98 (He was on the cover, too). He was interviewed in Mojo too, around that time. It´s an edition with Nick Drake on the Cover...

He was in Mojo either late '99 or early 2000. He really disliked the interviewer's comments on his new material and for quite a while it was his last proper interview for a music magazine for years. He recently started speaking up again, but in that Mojo interview he expressed his intent that he "perhaps shouldn't be giving interviews anymore". He had apparently read some of the journalist's comments before the meeting and actually greeted the guy with his left hand to start things off.

The last Prince interview in a UK magazine was, I think, in 'Word' from August 2004, when he appeared on the front cover.

As stated before, you'd have to go back to the beginning of this century for a Mojo interview and the previous century for Q magazine.

You are Not Wrong. I have the copies. Just can't tell ya exact months and all. He did alot around the Musicology and he was on the cover of Guitar Player and Bass Player also. I have alot of magazines from around the tour time.
