In watching the video clips on Youtube.com of Prince,
it's amazing how badly he danced on American Band Stand, and how great a dancer he is now...wha happened?

I don't know but you are totally right. His dancing has come a LONG way. I consider him a pretty good dancer, but in the "Prince" and "Dirty Mind" days his dance moves were pretty limited. They reminded of the dances Eddie Murphy does when mimics white people dancing at a disco.

is that the one wear he wore the gold pants?

Prince is one of the few artists who continually gets better, in all aspects of his playing, performing, you name it.


His early stuff was really raw, the period from 78 to about 81 was almost punkish...as he continued to grow, the music was richer, the choreography more polished, and the musicianship was off the charts.

Damn. If Prince could bottle that work ethic... one of the best combinations of talent, ability, balls, and damn-it-work-ethic the world will ever see.
