Prince harming

Even hipsters in Prince's hometown know he's strictly B-list these days. The management at the Minneapolis nightclub Fine Line say they will no longer clear customers out of Prince's favorite booth when he drops by. "It would be one thing if he would say thank you and shake these people's hands," GM David Mann tells the city's Star Tribune. It probably won't bother Prince. He turned into a freakish recluse after announcing he'd become a Jehova's Witness last year.

They didn't want it cuz someone else had previously sent it to them.

That's bad news for Prince that something like that is being reported nationally. Once other club owners and managers get wind of this, they'll follow suit.

Prince might start to be treated like a second-tier celeb in New York and LA instead of an A-list star.

But he can still get a theatre 2 show a film at 3 in the morning on 4 or 5 different screens (on a whim, mind u) 4 some uncomfortable fans?...uh, yeah, this guys full of shit.

I bet "GM David Mann" would just shit if Prince showed up 2nite, and would b all over his ass asking what he could do 2 make him more comfortable! LOL!

I mean, who else is there in Minneapolis 2 suck up 2?

Until Prince starts showing some appreciation for all the hospitality, he doesn't deserve a private booth.

Hmm, I didn't meet with Prince personally, but, I thought in the soundcheck he was an extremely nice man. Even after they were telling him he needed to go to get ready for the concert, he stayed and chit-chatted and shook hands.

He even took flowers from some people.

Darnit, I wouldn't shake those people's hands either. Ain't no tellin' where they've been. Perhaps Prince likes to be clean. Or perhaps he just likes to go out and eat and have a good time without being hassled. Can't blame him on either one. Nasty hands and hassle.

Darnit, he might not take sand dollars from crazed nimrods or tapes, or shake hands, but that doesn't make him mean...

This is from a story from CJ "Billy JAck Bitch" herself. Prince is the biggest star in Minnesota (more so even than the Govenor, Jam and Lewis, and Garnett).

The club owner doesn't understand how these things work. The fact that a star wants to visit his club is good for business. If people know that Prince likes the club, that helps to bring people in.

By kicking Prince out of the special booth and then talking to the press about it, this club owner has shown that he lacks discretion and has a small town attitude. I can't imagine a club in NY doing something like that and then alerting the press about it.

Maybe Prince treated them poorly and they just got fed up with kissing his ass. Besides, Prince ain't who he used to be. People don't care about him as much.

yeah, seems like the mood about p up here is pretty much low-key...but i don't give a flyin rat's nutsac, and i bet ol' boy don't either.

I think Prince does give rat's nutsac about being acknowledged and treated like a big star. If he didn't care, he would have taken any table available just like any other customer instead of having his people call the club so they would boot someone out of his special place.

Yeah, the recluse who opened his studio to all the fans for a week and performed some of the greatest shows I have ever seen.
I just got back from the Celebration and all I gotta say is I will be there next year for sure. It was an incredible week and the haters can hate Prince all they want. Nothing is gonna change the wonderful experience (except for the heat) I had at Paisley.
Thank you Prince, Mani, the staff, security and the fams for making this one of the best experiences of my life.
P.S. I don't know the name of the 3 month old baby (there were a lot of kids there) but she is gonna be the funkiest kid on the planet.

And I just gotta say, "Go Tuna, Go Tuna"!!
