Those aren't his. His guitar have dots on the neck, not the pre-symbol symbol.

Really? Could be, don't know. Is still don't think those are his, because I'm sure he keeps all his guitars.

I am not arguing the ownership as I agree with you - Although, I wouldnt make the statement that Paisley park have given a Certificate of proof if they hadnt - Dont you think???
(Check the Yellow One)

Not meant as a malicious comment ( I just read this back and it sounded it!!)

Also, Check the D&P Tourbook for a Piccie of Prince with a Cloud with the same symbols on. I also have a pic of P playing a Blue Cloud with the symbol fret markers wink

lol yeah I guess they just photoshopped the magazine so that it has the symbols on the neck too! wink j/k

I'd put my money down that these were the real deal.
Considering that its a Christian charity fron MPLS that is auctioning them.

You got $10,000 + you can have one.....lol.....

Sad really as a non fan will probably win them and then sell them for an even more exploitive amount to a fan...!!!!! lol.....

Perhaps this might spark another "is Prince gonna retire" Thread, as he obviously is getting shut of his equipment.....LMAO !!!!! lol

It does seem to be his guitars. You have to read the info to understand.

Moreover check out the sellers name and the sellers other items.

It would seem to be some church, ethemmm, orginazation that takes items of "pre ordained church lifestyle" and then sells them for a church profit.

That's just sad if it is what it says it is.

That "church" doesn't seem to be an JW church.

What type of crap is that?

Now you see why all churches are the same in my book.

I think Prince does occasionally give his guitars away, and certainly those 2 look authentic. However it is always a case of buyer beware, since some people try to sell replicas as originals.

Do they actually say it is the same guitar as in the magazine?

It definitely is NOT a Schecter Copy as the headstock is actually the right shape (schecter Clouds have a stubbier headstock with a shorter pointy bit)So I would say it is a real Cloud to some degree - Plus the Schecters dont have the markers on the Thumb Side of the Neck - If it is not a legit Prince Owned item, then I must say it is damn good copy and looks better than the Schecters !!

Young Yosh pointed out that the Truss Rod covers are different. That really isnt significant enough though as it is not a major oart of the giutar.....Perhaps we should wake leon up and ask him what he thinks ???? lol

Jesus are we sad or what?????

So, could this be the guitar on which he played that kick ass solo at Bargley's Warehouse during "House in order" in 1993? That was a yellow cloud guitar. I dunno, I still can't quite see Prince giving his guitars away...
