I wonder did Prince ever smoke cigarettes and drink liquor when he was younger.
I remember reading in a book about him around 1986 or so that him and his boys
used to smoke like a freight train. Just a question.

I recall seeing a pic of Prince from UTCM standing against a lamp post wearing that White Trench Coat holding a cigarette. I saw that pic back in 86 and never saw it again. Also it was kind on ironic that back in 86 he would say "where's my cigarette" during the tour. Although that was actually a call out for Lisa (Everyone knows she smoked like a chimney) to que in her piano solo.

He Was drinking Champagne in UTCM.....I know he's had some drinks sometimes, by Never saw or heard of him smoking.

Earlier today I was listening to Gold Experience in my car and it raised the question in my mind as to whether Prince smoked pot. One of the songs ("Now," I think) has all that talk about rolling and lighting up.

He had a glass of wine, now and then. And it's known he took XTC at least one time.

17 Days is the only reference I know to what seems like his own smoking. But you can't sing like Prince and be a heavy smoker.

Also, "Even more important than ripple & weed" implies to me that ripple & weed were something he may have been into, but not at the expense of education.

Note the first two lines which seem to indicate that Prince didn't understand his friends druggy solution to problems/issues at the time.

Maybe with him being small framed, short in stature and low body weight he doesn't have the tolerance to drink a lot. Just a thought.

I think he more than likely has a drink here and there
but I'd say he doesn't smoke. Maybe he tried it once, but
he definitely doesn't look like a smoker to me
