Theives in the Temple

I have decided this is my all time favorite Prince song. It is powerful, dark, engrossing and the drums. The drums drive me mad! biggrin

People often overlook this track when listing great Prince songs. It's a great song. Unfortunately because Graffitti Bridge was a rather weak album otherwise and was associated with a dogterd of a movie it tends to get overlooked. I'd list it in my top 5 favourite Prince songs. Its what he does (or did) best; simple, powerful, brilliant minimalist pop. And the extended video version is da shit!....funky too.

Oh and I have another question. In the video if he wasn't wearing underwear didn't it hurt his balls and stuff jumping around like that. I'm not trying to be funny I'm just wondering how he did all that dancing with no support. Maybe some of the guys could help me out with that question? biggrin

I may be going out on a limb here but I think you'll find it difficult to get a definitive answer on whether or not Prince hurt his balls while making the Thieves in the Temple video. I haven't seen it for a while but I assume that his pants were tight enough in that area to keep ...things....in ...er...place.....Oh, man, do I need a life!

this is the song that made me notice prince
i'll always have a connection to this

i still remember the day i first saw the songs video clip
i was amazed
my eyes were glued to the tv

i'll never forget
You saw the apple
hanging on the tree,
But missed the orchid
in your gaze
