Exactly WHICH version of 'GoldNigga' are you after???
The initial edition of this CD carried the song 'Guess Who's Knockin', which was later withdrawn from subsequent pressings. Yeah...I ordered my Goldnigga from 800newfunk when it was first released and got the "Guess Who's Knockin'" version...a friend of mine ordered the same disc about a month later and that song wasn't on the disc. Woo-hoo! (BTW, how twisted does it sound when someone starts a post with the words "I ordered my Goldnigga from...")??? Snake, did you get what you wanted? I could probably get you a very cheap copy of Exodus on cassette (ca. $ 1.50 + postage). Here in NZ they're virtually giving them away. Must say, I fuckin love it. This is a genuine "lost album" - if the good stuff from Exodus and the good stuff from "Gold" hadda been on one album - man that woulda fuckin rocked!! Instant classic. For me, I can hear the guy from SOTT on Exodus, unlike on most of his 90s stuff. It got "the spark" or "the juice" or whatever you fuckin wanna calla it. And to think Warners told him "we can't release this shit". Man, "The Exodus has begun" just plain burns... And you can see the blueprint for TRC clear as day... Shit, I gotta stop rhapsodizing. | |

Yesterday I fell off my bike and went shoulder first into the road. Spent two hours at hospital getting x-rayed and jabbed. Got home, took some pain killers. That shit makes you feel real good!! Whack in a tape; man I was fuckin high! That probably explains the excessive enthusiasm.  | |
