i wish that my little girl (mayte) loves his music too,

she complaines that she has too listen to it all the time!!
she's 5!!
and last day she asked me "mama why don't you marrie him if you love him so much?" smile

I swear that what happend to me the other day when I was shopping in best buy wit 'Iman' my daughter, and there was a BIG 'Purple Rain' poster hanging on the wall and LOL she's thinking that we're the only ppl who KNOW HIM. Anyway, when I was handing my stuff to the counter, she(My child) pointed at me PR's poster and said: Thats mommy's future husbend. LOL The girl on the counter said wet a sly voice:Honey please, yo momma should go back to that looong line.

The most beautifull thang about children is 'They're SIMPLE about everything',,

I do not let my kids listen to some of Prince old songs. Some songs I do not mind. I will just fast forward the ones I do not want them to hear. But this is ONLY my opinion as a parent to my children. I think we owe them some innocents at least into a certain age and 8-9-10 years old is just to young for me to let them loose that innocents and if it were the case where I would let them listen to some of his old songs then now I would also have to difine some of the lyrics to them if questioned. Then what? I would now have to now define the message which in my eyes as a parent I would have to cover all corners and now define what condoms, STD's and pregnancy are. I do let them listen to his new music sinse he has been with NPG. For instance the ONA CD, they like those songs. My children play piano so they appreciate the classical notes of the music which in our oppinion it is a very nice CD.
