GB really sucks IMO.

I really like UTCM and prefer to watch that to PR, having said that, you might not like it.

My advice would be to buy them from seperate stores, and be prepared to possibly return them!

I got a copy of GB off ebay on vhs for next to nothing. I do believe, if you are a person that collects movies, GB is worth buying.

I have never heard of the movie Charry Moon.

Prince had a movie Under the Cherry Moon however, and I don't know if this one is worth having in a movie collection. I guess it is if you like to look at prince in black and white.

I only seen it in theaters when it came out. I don't know that it isn't deet dee dee.
News: Prince pulls his head out his ass in the last moment.
Bad News: Prince wasted too much quality time doing so.

Yes, they both are. I love Under The Cherry Moon-- campy!! I'm not as fond of Graffiti Bridge-- I watch it not as a movie but as a collection of music videos and that's what makes it worthwhile for me.

They are essential in any household.

For instance, you may want to break up with someone but just can't bring yourself to break the person's heart. You put the GB dvd on and say "This, my dear, is the single most important movie for me and something I must be able to share with you if we are to have a long fruitful relationship!" By the time Prince gets into the whole dance number of Tick Tick Bang, you will be a free agent.

The same technique can be used on pesky in-laws, door-to-door salesmman and Jehovah's Witnesses.

UTCM is not as good a repellent though. It actually has a lot of nearly redeeming features.

Aw you guys are being too hard on those flicks.

They're both 'bad' movies, but if you're a Prince fan, they have some really funny moments and some inspired visuals.

Cherry Moon is beautifully shot. It's weird. It's funny. The music is great. ( I wish he would release the Special Complete Soundtrack version, since there are lots of great musical moments and songs in the film left off Parade--including Alexa De Paris, one of my favorite Prince songs. )

My friend Josh and I always have laughs quoting lines from Cherry Moon!

Graffiti Bridge---terrible movie but I think it's my favorite Prince "look" and I happen to love that crazy Tick Tick Bang performance. I remember the first time I saw a preview for the film it was of THAT and I thought the song sounded incredibly fresh and Prince looked like he was out of his mind. THAT'S the Prince I want back!!!

I love Under the Cherry Moon! I would get that one.

Graffiti Brigde isn't, but I would just to have both for your collection.

Plus for the music videos.

I think all everybody here sould have Under The Cherry Moon in there collection. To tell the truth here, I dont really like 'Graffiti Bridge' that much. Under The Cherry Moon is more entertaining and better overrall.
Some people think I'm kinda cute
But that don't compute when it comes 2 Y-O-U.

falloff :lol2: ooohhh man that is funny!
ok,
if you can afford em, pick em up I'd say.
Everything everyone has said here is true.
Somethings are better than others & some
things are certainly BAD, but Prince is
cocky & funny in UTCM, and Graftti Bridge
is.... well....

Under The Cherry Moon was average at best, but it did have some funny moments. Graffiti Bridge works as a long music video than an overall movie and the plot sucks (the performances are the only thing that makes this appealing)! Both DVD's have rare music videos and that's probably the only special features that seem pretty good.
