So while listening to Sex in the Summer, I kinda have to laugh at the thought of Prince at the Beach. Doesn't seem like that would be his thing. Picture Prince on the Jersey shore gettin sand rash, or bitten by sand fleas, or on the boardwalk gettin' a slushie and dodging seagull shit.

Prince at the beach doesn´t surprise me at all, why not...but one thing I simply CAN´T imagine is Prince playing baseball or softball,as told by Alan Leeds a couple of times.

hmm... usually the org poo poos on unsubstantiated rumors. rarely do we see someone knocking official site commentary. the rumor was also released in the rags and at the time and the "official" response was to comment on those rumors. not at all unlike the comments made on the NPG site that claim prince will not be having any surgery (thereby leaving unanswered (purposely?) the rumor that his hips are causing him problems).

now in your defense (that it was a Prince released publicity stunt) what i find interesting is that in this world where nothing is kept out of the loop for long, no actual pictures have ever been found even through the internet. That is quite odd and possibly uphold the pictures never existed in the first place. thereby your opinion holds substantial credit.

Of course Prince has proven he will at times tell a boldface lie (such as the Oprah show).

incidentally i have seen Prince play ping pong at one of those aftershows that i waited for hours and never got to hear him play. i watched him play ping pong. the guy could have another carreer as an olympian ping pong player. all the while flirting with the chickas. I'll never forget the line he told one girl..."baby, u look like about my size! go home with me and u can double ur wardrobe."

i would not trade him playing anything that night for that experience. I got a good position watching it as most of the crowd grumbled away that night due to his late arrival and subsequent failure to perform.
