Is this true? It would be great to see him again. I Miss him so MUCH...

Is it just appearing or performing?

not sure...i think he's just presenting an award.

I just saw the commercial it is from Robin Williams speech from last year saying;

"Prince (then shows him on stage from last year), (William) Shatner (then shows him in crowd from last year), and P. Diddy (Then shows him in crowd from last year) all on the same stage, which shows signs of the apocalypse."

I would not take this as him attending, but just showing the wide variety of stars the Golden Globes attracts.

(I hope he does attend this year as well.)

Althou I've never seen anyone perform at the Golden Globes before...but this could be a first! Being that the show is a bit boring after an hour of just watching people talk about movies and give out awards.

Golden Globes really would be a better show if they offered live performances, maybe (3) musical guests...One to Open, One in the mid portion of the show and One to close!

Prince looked gorgeous last year on the show in support of Jamie Foxx's portrayal of Ray Charles...so I wonder what Prince is cooking up now!
Is it because of Salma and Mia...or did the committee of the show just ask Prince to perform his new song this year!?

As much as I love to see Prince any and everywhere, the only TV appearance I really want to see is him opening the Grammys again, alone (no offence Beyonce) and doing a killer version of Te Amo Corazon with a guitar solo that would make the R&R Hall of Fame performance look like amateur night. In addition to raising the Grammy ratings like he did in 2004, it would make my year. In addition to a tour, that is.
But, I guess I won't complain if he wants to show up at the People's Choice awards again this year. And the Oscar's. And Ellen. Maybe even Martha. Or The View. The Daily Show would be interesting. Jimmy Kimmel? Conan? Mythbusters? Law and Order? (Criminal Intent and SVU.) Nip/Tuck? Emeril Live? This Old House? Current TV? The new season of Rome?
