Questions, vaguer than vague

Reet, hats off to anyone that can help with this one...

1) NPGMC download track number six (probably) - an instrumental with running time at 3.05mins.

Its pretty schmaltzy, with organ and bluesy licks guitar. Could be a Karmasutra cut as I don't have that LP.

2) A track called Lover's Song - I aint even sure if this is P; sounds pretty like him - loads of effected guitar and synths, with Prince-like screams and effected vocals. 'I know what its like on the outside' is a key lyric. Although its mainly an instrumental. Demo quality.

3) Is When Will We Be Paid a Rainbow Children outtake? Or B-side...?

Any help would be most appreciated.

Anxiety

3) "When Will We B Paid" is a cover version that Prince recorded for one of the "Hit and Run" singles (which were re-worked into the 'Chocolate Invasion' downloads a couple of years ago) - it was the b-side of the "U Make My Sunshine" single.

1) & 2) - couldn't tell ya.

1: probably - YOU CAN TOUCH ME (INSTRUMENTAL), but you need to be more specific, are you talking about Ahdio Show 6 or track 6 from a certain Ahdio Show??

2: Pretty sure it is fake

3: already answered, but this was also covered by Audio Stepchild, they used P's version and put a rap on it and released it on their album.

You'll have to tell me what Ahdio Show is... not up to speed on that.

When I found the tune it was simply titled npgmc instrumental track 6...

sorry to be vague.

Cheers for the help chiefs.

1) NPGMC download track simply entitled "instrumental". It starts off with the
guitar playing the tune to 'The Holy River' from Emancipation, and then kinda
goes off on a tangent.

2) Lover's Song - Nothing to do with Prince. It's by someone called 'Francis H'

3) When Will We B Paid? - B-Side to the "U Make My Sun Shine" CD Single. It's
a cover version of the old Staple Singers track (very different arrangement to
the original, Prince's version is much darker and brooding).

Nope, sorry - I just re-listened to Holy River to check and its certainly not that. The track is far more bluesy - although it is certainly a recent (post 2000) release - its has plenty of piano and has a loungey feel. Defo Prince too.

It could be "Gamillah" then, which was the B-Side to the NPG single "Peace".

Class, it may well be that.

Though I think that's B-side to Daisy Chain; I may be wrong though.

Cheers for the help.
