who cares people! none of this means anything. can't a talent be just appreciated for what it is. when peeps delve too deep into and speculate about everything personal, they're never going to find any real answers. mayte and prince broke up and got back together and split again, it affected their careers naturally but they were long overdue together anyway. why do other pop-groups split and get back together? we will never know. what i'm saying is that theses activities don't make the art of artists, getting these seperate issues mixed up spoil what the artists have created, i think it's much better when i'm more objective, take the art for what it is, especially when it come to prince. oh no no no no no. she did not cheat on Prince with Tommy Lee. Mayte and Tommy met at a club a good while after her and Prince called it quits. Tommy was really intimidated by her because he thought that she was still married to Prince, who is one of his idols. so they introduced themselves and when he found out that they weren't married anymore, and that they had been separtated for some time, THEN he made his move. there was no involvment with Tommy before Prince and Mayte were over. Not knowing the whole story I cant make an accurate assessment.
However, as a birth professional I do know the rate of divorce is quite high for couples whose child has died. We all grieve, its just that some people grieve differently. It seems like he threw himself into his work and she pulled inward. Is the Oprah interview like a month after their loss?
