What is '3121'?? Does anyone know what it stands for or means??

Marketing! Yes, Marketing. That is what you mean. It's "cool" that he released the single on the same date as the album's title (of course with the date backwards) so that everyone can associate the two.

I have a feeling he's up to something big. That's a long time between a single release and an album release. Even for 15-20 years ago in the muz business.

Well the numers do add up to 7, but he already used that as a title to a song. I can just see the wheels turning when he was contemplating buying the house. Hmmmm...3+1+2+1=...Oh yeah! Gots to have this house!

maybe 3121 means "Prince and Wendy & Lisa" (3) will have a #1 hit (1).
"Wendy & Lisa" (2) perform a song on the new CD and it goes to #1 (1).

The only confirmed meaning (and there could be more than one) is that it's the release date of the first single. However, it could well be that this (backward) was the original release date of the album. If that is true, it's indicative of the fact he views this next project as a new phase. But then, when has not Prince behaved as if his next project was a new phase? My guess is that the number 3121 has no deep meaning and is a tool for speculation/hype.

Wait! I think I figured it out!

Okay if you take the numbers "3121" and correspond them with the alphabet, you get "CABA." After doing some extensive searching, I came to find that only 1 Prince album contains songs that begin with each letter, and that is the album...It's so obvious that he's warning us that he's changing his name back!
