Graffiti Bridge - Originally a Double-Album? I was going through the gallery and reading some articles from '90 about the Nude tour and saw it was mentioned that Graffiti Bridge was gonna be released as a double-album.
Is this true? This is the first I've heard of it possibly being a double-album originally. Ooh, little darlin' if you're

It was a double album on vinyl (which was still the dominant format
when it was released). As far as album length and sequencing goes, Graffiti Bridge can be seen as the transition from albums produced with the vinyl format in mind and subsequent releases which were produced with the CD format in mind. Graffiti Bridge was originally concieved as a 'vinyl' album containing just the Prince-sung tracks. It was then expanded to CD length with the addition of the other artist's tracks. So it can be seen as the first Prince album created with CD in mind. | |
