I Realize something though. There are So Many Groups who Don't get Played on mTV or VH-1 and They still Sell and have a Huge Following. MTV is Only Rap really. Vh-1 is Easy Music. Bet is Rap. Prince needs SMOOTH GROOVES so they would probably put it in ADULT CONTEMPORARY or JAZZ. When he goes back to Rock I think Radio will play him more. Prince is a THINKING Man and TODAY NOBODY THINKS....It's Just Partying and GETTIN IT ON....TRUTH! | |

Gone are the days when the DJ would announce the new single and you'd get KISS, or ALPHABET ST., or GETT OFF, or SEXY MF or THE MOST BEAUTIFUL GIRL....songs that blow you away because they're catchy or highly danceable and stand out. Prince is one of my heroes, but his decisions continue to be bewildering and TERRIBLE and they do not help his cause. It's maddening!! Good point,but let's not lose hope.Perhaps the next single will blow everyone away? | |
