Graffiti Bridge vs Te Amo.... vs Musicology

I was just listening to a few tracks from Graffiti Bridge while in my mother's car yesterday on her in car cassette player and it just sounds so much more alive and urgent and energy in it than either Te Amo Corazon or Musicology.

I know people only consider Graffiti Bridge to be part of a great album or maybe certain tracks from it to be really good but the ones I was listening to were : Question of U, I can't stop and New Power Generation which I think are three of the best but man they sounded so much more alive and powerful than anything on musicology or the new Prince single and her factory built ford sound system isn't anything special.

Is it just me that Graffiti Bridge sounds much more alive and vibrant or does anyone else agree? I mean musicology isn't bad I don't think or Te Amo .... either but both sound just really really MELLOW!

What do you guys think?

I meant the whole album not just the song confused

I think there are several albums that have a "live and urgent/energetic" feel - Graffiti Bridge, prince and The Gold Experience in particular.
