That was kick-ass, thanks for posting. Was the lead vocalist Joyce (Baby Jean) from Mother's Finest? I only ask as I know nothing about 'Joi' (but sure would like to going on what i've just seen and heard) and being a big fan of Mother's Finest that chit just gets me intruiged!

Joi is a new protege of George Clinton and she will be on his new label. She is also a member of Children Of Production (P-Funk act) with Rafael Saadiq. She comes from Lucy Pearl. | |

Joi isnt a George Clinton protege. She is part of the legendary Dungeon Family out of ATL with Outkast and Goodie Mob. Joi has been singing background on every Organized Noize production with Debra Killings for a long time. Over a decade...
She has out 4 albums. She guested on Saadiq's solo stuff. And she was the replacement for Dawn Robinson in Lucy Pearl for a little bit. Dungeon Family is the best crew from the south of musicians/producers/emcees/vocalists. | |
