No really Purple Rain needs no sequel. That was supposed to be Graffiti Bridge. I say for get that long music video and leave Purple Rain as it ended. No Prequel or Sequel are needed.

Billy has made enough money that he hands the club over 2 The Kid and Morris so he can retire and marry Jill Jones.

She finds a better man...but one who is still a musician. He plays at local clubs in mpls. The Kid's mother occasionally sits in as singer. The Kid has trouble adjusting 2 the new man in the house...but he gradually respects him.

***Will the Revolution appear in the sequel,or will Prince have a new backing band?

The Revolution will appear, but will break up midway through the film. It is break-up that the band initiated because Bobby Z. is moving away and the group won't b the same without him. The Kid has trouble with the break-up at first.

***What will Morris Day and Prince be fighting over this time?

Besides me, ownership of the club. The Kid eventually gives up the fight and builds Paisley Park. Morris Day becomes a businessman with a thriving nightclub, First Avenue.

One of the first opening acts at the new Morris-owned First Avenue is Ashanti. (Kidding)

Actually Morris debuts the club with a new band called thecloud9mission.

New band.. Prince is never seen with old people.

Morris is the owner of the club and Prince laughs at him because by now.. Prince is the biggest thing in music and ONLY comes back to laugh that he never made it past that little piss in the wall joint ... Prince also laughs at his Nose Job :LOL:

SEQUEL WOULD BE : BLUE SKIES

It would be based on the real life of Prince, the trails and tribulations he had to overcome before finding happiness and true love.

One of the cable TV networks would probably be interested in doing it. But you can forget about any Purple Rain sequel or prequel showing up in theaters. It would either be a cable or straight to video thing.
