Yeah, I know. When I said I wondered if the rumor were true, I meant that I wondered (briefly) if it were true when I first heard the rumor--not that I wonder about it now.

It was 1983 when I heard the "Prince has AIDS" rumor. I was only 8 years old at the time, and back then AIDS was a scary, mysterous disease that no one really knew much about. And again, being a naive 8-year-old and a Prince fan, it did have me worried for a bit. smile
