prince fans but not fans of his guitar playing i know that most prince fans love princes guitar playing.
but are there any fans who are more into other stuff he does but dont feel him as a guitar player??? his guitar playing is very raw, noisy,distorted so maybe some fans don't like that. | |

Uhhh...no. I love his guitar playing. I don't think he's the greatest guitarist of all time or anything, but I love it. The world is a comedy for those who think and a tragedy for those who feel.

How about the opposite? I know a man who's a guitar player, and is all about 60s, 70s, and some 80s rock...he freely praises Prince as a guitarist in particular and a musician in general, but hates Prince's music! I've met quite a few people like that. They'll say he's incredible with the guitar or piano but not be able to get into his music. I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that | |

Prince's guitar playing makes me want to take my clothes off. It's orgasmic. If I'm in public and I hear a reallly good Prince riff, I have to concentrate very hard not to go wild.
