There's been a few times where he's been in close vicinity, all at Paisley Park. One night he went up on top of one of the speakers and sat down on it directly in front of me, an arm's length away, and jammed away on his guitar. I felt like I had died and gone to heaven. Another time was when the band (w/ Larry Graham) was having power circuit problems and kept blowing out the power to the stage during "The Jam", so after a while this dancer was on stage and he went out onto the floor and stood right next to me as everyone including him were watching this person dance.

Oh, I have a story that I could tell about being close to a star. At a coronation event (Imperial Court), Rob Halford of Judas Priest was in attendance (ya'll know he likes the boys now, don't ya?), and I almost didn't recognize him cuz he's like 5'5 or something. So he's in reg. street clothes before his performance, and he we walk right by each other. He says hello, and like a dunce, all I can manage to get out of my mouth is a brief, "hello?" (with a question mark at the end right where it belongs). Then when I saw him on stage, I coulda kicked my own ass. DOH!

i think the 5'2 theory is WITH heels. At musicology last year, one of my good friends danced on stage and shared a mic with him during LOTP....she is 5'6, was wearing flat shoes...he was in his heels, and she said he still seemed half a foot shorter than her!

at the concert the night before that, my step-daughter and i had front row, right where the steps lead down under the stage...when Prince wasnt dissappearing into the floor, he used these stairs so he passed by us many, many times. my step-daugther got to slap hands with him as he came and went...he really did seem so tiny! it was truly shocking.

I threw a whistle at a concert and it just missed his head.

i have managed to get close a few times
i have gotten his autograph a few times,
backstage at the purple rain concert
(1st concert ever), lovesexy album autographed
at a record store, last year at the musicology
concert in cleveland i was backstage and got my
custom made purple rain airbrushed jacket
autographed. and at one of the rainbow children shows
i was on the guestlist and and got my rainbow
children album signed (the lyric book anyway)
and on the jam of the year tour, i was also on
the guest list and after the show, some of us were
on stage when they started packing stuff up and i
touched the symbol guitar and heard someone say "hey,
don't let the boss see you doing that"

He's about 5'6 with SHOES and 5'2 Without. I should Know.....I stood Face to face with him. He's a Petite Individual. All these Comments are Wrong also cause I saw his Dick up close. He's NOT SMALL. He was Semi and you could SEE IT. That's CERTAINLY NOT SMALL. I Wish People would STOP Making like they Know when they Don't. I KNOW! Flat Feet I was the same Height and Manuela is about 4'11. Maybe being Shorter in Height has LIMITED his DATING POTENTIAL with SOME WOMEN..

No shit. She looks taller. Hmmmm. Interesting. Eye never thought he looked like he had a small dick. Shit eye've seen pics where he was jus chillin n he looked not bad at all. Eye can jus imagine when he does pitch tent so 2 speak.

the closest I ever got to prince was at the last celly. twice in one week, well me and two other females from Hotlanta got to greet Prince as he was driving up in his Purple Prowler,He was picking up one of his body guards.Prince said hello to each of us we were standing right next to his car. I was very nervous, I felt like a school girl.I stood there with my head I got shy all of a sudden, Prince has the deepest tone you can imaigine, oops I spelled it wrong, His voice just made my body quake. I had a nice warm fuzzy feeling.that was on Saturday, during the day, the secound time I dressed up like I just walked out of Under the Cherry moon set.I had on 5 inch staked heels black, black fish net stocking, a black skirt with with poka-dots. and a very reveling black sweater. also I had on a really cute white berret,I walked over to one of his body guards and tapped him on the sholder and ask him if I could shake Prince"s hand he said alright, I shook Prince"s hand a very nice grip, Told him thank for inviting me to your House, He said you are very welcome.and then began walking away, when I was about 10-20 feet away I looked back Low and behold Prince was bending over and watching me walk. It felt wonderful.that was too cool. I hope one day I can get a hug.. maybe one day.....
