Last Prince Video U Saw

I was wondering what was the last and latest Prince video you saw? What station and when? I think the last thing I've seen was on BET one night late when they played the video for "Come On." You know, the hand-held shot thing from a few releases back? Geez I miss a REAL video of his being shown -- and a NEW one would be nice! There's a lot of forgotten ones out there that never get seen anymore. What were some of your favs?

I loved "I Wish U Heaven" and think I saw it aired perhaps twice -- and how about "Glam Slam?" 'Think I got a chance to see it only once. Oh, and I think I saw the last two seconds of "The Greatest Romance Ever Sold." How 'bout you?

I can't remember the last one I saw it's been so long. I think I only saw the Wish U Heaven video once. I still have never seen "Scandalous" and have only seen "Partyman" once.Hopefully some day he or Warner Bros will release them as a collection of rare videos.

On MTV UK it was 'The Greatest Romance Ever Sold'. A nice quality, mellow video. Prior to that it was 'Come On' and the promo for 'The One' (nice orchestral into).

The 'Hot Wit U (Nasty Girl Remix)' video was also avaliable on the internet.

Various videos have been released through NPGMC yr 1. As Istenszek said I've seen 'U make My Sunshine' and 'Daisy Chain'. It was reported that he had shot videos for nearly all of the projected 'High' album, so there are obviously a few in the can.

I also heard that Prince had shot a promo for 'The Last December' which was being shown in Japan, but I'm not sure if this is true or not. I heard that it was more or less a straight performance video.

The last one I saw was TGRES on MTV Europe. I have all the old ones from '79 till '93 on VHS. Faves? Love the Lovesexy, Parade & Batman vids, and Rasberry Beret is great too, especially the cough!

' last video I saw was 'TGRES' and 'The one' and 'Come on' which is included on the 'Beautiful strange' video at the end.
Several years ago MTV did some Prince-weekends (hours of Prince-videos), but I only recorded about 2 hours of 'em.
Man, I bet they could repeat it (New Power Generation was the newest song of it...1990? Yes..)

YES!!! I remember it, too. And there was a Prince-Day on some Valentine's Day, I guess 1994 or so, where they showed videos from the DIAMONDS AND PEARLS collection. Oh man, already 8 years ago...
Yesterday I watched the LOVESEXY live video - and again it totally blew me off. Shockadelica!

I loved the "Batdance" video -- it was at the tailend of the Lovesexy era and had Prince and gang (including Sheila E.) dressed as Gemini's... remember? They even had a long version video of that! Damn I miss it! How about "Partyman," [Purple Party Mix] complete with the piano-playing? That was way cool...

And there was the videos from "Parade/Under a Cherry Moon." Who'd ever have thunk bitchy Kistin Scot Thomas would become the big star she is today -- complete with Oscar nomination?!?! I remember the live video version of "Anotherloverholeinyourhead," with Prince at the piano, doing splits, and wearing that yellow suit. It was cool -- and from the days when The Family was incorporated into the Revolution. Hell he could have made a baseball team with all those members then in the larger band! I liked how in "Mountains" he and the Revolution descended from the clouds too. Those were the days!

Gett Off, or Batdance. I don't remember, I have a bunch of Prince videos burnt to a cd though...I got tired of waiting for them to come on TV. Of course, about oh, 2 weeks ago, by chance, I saw 1999 on MTV2.

Last summer, I remember, they had Pop Up Video Prince on VH1 like every other day, and MTV2 played an hour of Prince videos. You got good stuff out of it...Even The Greatest Romance Ever Sold.

Hmmm... Does Dinner with Delores on Good Morning America count as a video? If not, then it's going to have to be the horribly edited Gold.

Last video I saw 'live' on TV must have been "The greatest romance ever sold"... or, maybe, I think I saw something from "Sign o' the Times" but I don't remeber when or where... most recent official videos I saw are the ones of the NPG MC... last video I saw in general must have been "Can't stop this feeling I got" (had never seen it before!!!) from a cd-rom a friend of mine sent me.

Favorite videos: "7", "Glam slam", "Mountains", "Sign o' the times", "Come on" (I think it's quite funny)...
