unless they "contributed" to the songs on 3121, I don't see the big deal if they came back especially since Prince is putting away the big hits for now. Would you really like to them doing backing on Te Amo Corazon.

I really don't see Wendy & Lisa playing any part. I think far too much has been read into the statement about 'old friends' and Wendy playing with him on the Tavis Smiley show and visiting their gig. I think those were simply gestures of friendship to end years of speculation about the 'bad blood' between them - but I think Prince is in a very different place musically to them now, and I don't see them wanting to go back to playing second fiddle to Prince after all these years of being in control of their own careers and image.

But,thats the reason I think they may get together within the next year. Because they all have grown and changed. I think he has grown to appreciate them in a way he never had.

But I am so glad that they all are good terms now. Also they all almost approaching fifty and therefore they needed to bury the childish bad blood they had.

I personally want to see some other members part of Prince's agenda too since Lisa and Wendy werent the only important band members Prince ever had.

i'd highly doubt that if they did get together it would be a vegas style revolution revue. wendy commented that she and lisa rejected that idear the last time prince was serious about them working together.....

we shall see....i would be excited if they did decide to work together again...but i wouldnt be remise if they didnt.

I am HOPING they get back together, as I've been hoping for 20 years since I was 14. I mean, I remember reading some interview w/ Prince and he said the intention WAS to get back together at some point...I'm still waiting for him to make good on the promise.

I think they will be involved. The Prince cover story in Entertainment Weekly last year said he and Wendy & Lisa were working together again.

Prince certainly seems to be mellowing a bit lately. Maybe he would be comfortable now collaborating with Wendy & Lisa, instead of being a dictator.

Then again, we are talking about Prince, so who knows...

if he wants to go retro...just do r&b tracks from 1970-1975.

i preferred a prince and lisa reunited so that way he could reunited with andre, dr. fink and dez too and relived the dirty mind era. wendy i dont care that much for. but if l*w won't be part of prince's tour or whatever, it not a huge loss since prince is the man that many wanted to see anyway

first let me say im not speaking on anyone's behalf..all of this is pure speculation on my part. in the past its always been wendy who has talked about prince and working together...lisa seemed to have an "i dont give a f*ck" attitude....actually, she seemed to have that kinda of attitude towards her entire "pop" career. she is a true "artist" in the sense that she seems happy to create art but doesnt give a rats arse about selling it. ive heard from folks who have seen her artwork and they are all blown away at its beauty yet she rarely ever exhibits it.

at anyrate, ive noticed a real change in lisa's personality these past few years. she is more talkative..more comfortable in her own skin. and that confidence has translated in her music. her organ playing in betty lavette's "ive got my own hell to raise" has a sexy attitude i've never heard from her. she even talked about "finding herself" during the shows. she said the death of david was very hard on her and it made her search within to find herself.

at anyrate, i just sense this jazzed attitude from her now....i sense it in her new songs...i sense it in the way she works the crowd after their shows..like she understands and accepts her talents and the audience that appreciates it. and just something gets me to think she could and might just talk prince into being musical pranksters/challengers once again.

not saying that they will reform Revolution or create Purple Rain 2. But from their comments during the shows i could see they were instigating prince to challenge himself musically...i'd love for them to release albums individually yet still try to outdue each other..thats how prince created some of his greatest work of his career...IMHO.

once again, notice i never once said the sound would be a purple rain 2..or that i think wendy and lisa's music actually makes prince better...its the challenge that makes each of them better.

Ill get slated 4 this BUT i hope not. Yawn that would b boring..now if u wanna bring back some peeps lets see Mike B and Sonny T on the stage.. at least that would b FUNKY..HELL YEAHHHHH
