Im kind of glad Prince didn't get his masters back I imagine him erasing certain songs for their "evil or lacivious content and energy" due to Larrys or the church's influence. I see this as a possibility of happening around 1998-2001. | |

No I don't think he would have did something like that. One thing about Prince, he sure knows how to protect himself from HIMSELF  and when it comes to his babies (songs) I don't think he would let anybody talk him into spanking them  | |

Early on edited tracks were played at the npgmc "reflection" room. However, for a while now,they haven't edited the songs. | |

This is why I think his not owning the masters works to his advantage.
If he owned them he would be editing them & everyone would be pissed at him. By not owning them he can play the martyr & the blame is pushed on to the bad blood between Prince & Warner Bros. It partially makes it beyond his control. Sort of. He keeps it an issue of control & $$ and avoids the editing issues for the moment. | |

Erasing the master may not delete everything thats already out there in print and in our hands. But the masters would be erased to erase the "evil in its orignal form" I can see Prince saying lol.
