As far as I´m concerned he looks and sounds much better eversince he´s been with Mani and released TRC and did the ONA tour. Especially during the 2002 celly he looked pretty happy.

Now the late 90´s , when Rave came out and during the Newpowersoul tour in Europe, that´s when he looked and sounded a bit sad, lost and confused.

he's almost always very guarded in interviews. it's no secret that he hates talking to the press. sometimes when he's excited to pitch something he can be animated, or sometimes if he likes the person who's interviewing him (like with chris rock or that mel b. thing), but usually he comes off as really cold and moody in interviews.
