I still think it's a nice song but it's just not single material.

I hope this was released just as a taster and that a really strong song is released as a prelude to the album release. If Prince was determined to promote this song wouldnt he get on tv a bit with it i.e Jay Leno's show etc.

I suspect it is not the song that he hopes to promote the album with. The timing will correspond with the Grammies etc (for live peformances).

We'll see I guess.
