I know, "who wants to talk about it", but lately there's been somewhat of a uproar about negativity towards Prince on this site. People state how they've been fans for years and have time and time again been let down and/or disappointed by Prince. I think the majority of us, understand the frustration involved with, feeling screwed over, or ripped off, by your favorite artist/musician/singer/writer/whatever. BUT lately (the past year to be exact) The World and the Country has experienced great loss with; Sept 11th, we've lost Aaliyah and Lisa Lopes and countless others this past decade. It's time to appreciate the artist that we love, for 'who they are, while they're here.'

Rather you love him or hate him (or strongly dislike). I'm sure all of us here would be very saddened to hear, that our Prince has died. I'm not asking wise crackers, sarcastics, or people who poke fun at others, to stop being themselves. I've personally been forced to put things in perspective and appreciate what I have 'here on earth' It's my opinion that everyone do the same, that's all.
Recently, I had a chat with a friend of mine, whom I haven't spoken with for awhile, she is a die-hard TLC fan. She was extremely upset with the death of her beloved 'Left-Eye' She just expressed the fact that Ms. Lopes had so many future dreams and ambitions, that the world may never see.

I always put myself in other peoples shoes, I'm glad that my favorite artist is still around, doing POSITIVE things with his music.

I may think his current work sucks and has for at least 5 years, but at least he's always doing something interesting and hasn't let up the pace in YEARS, which is something my other fave artists can hardly say

my guess is whoever he left his music to in his will would release his music from the vault and we would have endless cd's coming out of music like they did after jimi hendrix died, anything they could find that he recorded was released.

Lord knows I've made the mistake of reposting threads that have already existed. This is the first time I've made the effort to point out that this topic has been discussed to the death before, simply because I think the question is pointless (key words here: I think).
