I'm going to have to cop out on a couple and pick boxed sets like a few others have done. And I'm going to limit myself to 1 Prince album otherwise we could be here all night.

Start with the most popular favorite and for a good reason, it's one of the best albums ever:

Stevie Wonder - Songs In The Key Of Life
Prince - Purple Rain (sentimental favorite, could, and will, change at a moments notice)
Genesis - Duke or The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway (side 1)
Kevin Gilbert - The Shaming of the True
Joni Mitchell - Court and Spark
Earth, Wind & Fire - The Eternal Dance (box set)
Jimmy Buffett - Bars, Beaches, Boats & Ballads (box set)
Joe Jackson - Blaze of Glory
Supertramp - Crisis? What Crisis?
The Tubes - The Completion Backward Principle

Okay, so, I picked 10. Flame me for it why don't you!

Kudos to MayULive2SeeTheDawn for the Jellyfish selection. Always in rotation for me. If you like them you should check out some early Supertramp. I once saw an interview with Jellyfish and they cited them as a major influence.

I tend not to listen to whole "albums" anymore. I have a cd player in my car that plays mp3's so I have about 10 discs that have 150 - 200 albums on them and I hit random so I never know WHAT I'm going to hear next. I don't even bother labeling the discs. It's a hell of a lot better than the radio, that's for sure.

I tried to pick albums that, for me, have no songs that I would fast forward over.
