A New Prince

I just heard and saw the new single today and like some of you said, was bored to sleep.

It's a nice song, but to me, it seems like Prince is getting older...well, he is, but his music is getting more for older people, or people with more sophisticated tastes.

He started out doing r&b/dance kind of music; which eventually he mixed in rock and jazz into his own genre of music and he keeps switching it up.
Now he's doing this classicl comtemporary r&b thing.

I love PRINCE's music and creativity, and loved it back in the day when he would do unthinkable things with his style/music/lyrics, BUT I will need to hear another song or another single before I buy 3121

The man is (what some refer to as a) "a young 47." He just looks like is 35, but he is 47.

He admits, his greatest battle is to not repeat himself. He's say's it's so easy for him to play funk or to open a song like "Let's Go Crazy."
There are only 12 notes on a musical scale. It's rough sometimes.

I've been a fan since 1979. I'm not revealing my age, but I'm slightly younger than P. I don't care for the new single. I want to hear the funk! I don't care if he doesn't use four letter words anymore or make any innuendos.
"Illusion, Coma, Pimp and Circumstance" was as close to the Prince we knew back in the day.

I'll just do what I've been doing since the 0)+> (symbol) CD back in 1991, wait for the next release, pull the songs I like and compile a Prince album that fits me.

side note: It was very hard to make one CD out of the Emmancipation. That shit was, well.....shit! (sorry P).

If He's Not Working OUT..I Don't Wanna SEE IT! Secondly, if he WANTS to get OLD or Look Old that is SAD.... He Better not Ever look that way... He Should act More Crazy and Silly Ass Actually... I think his sense of humor is FUNNY....Crazy /Funny..I Like it.... I like more Foolish men sometimes. they don't have to be Serious. I Love COMEDY FILMS...
