Strange but True This is a great song! I have been listening to it alot latley. This seems like a big  to Mayte but I'll forgive him for that and just simply say this song is really cool!!! notwithstanding your spelling shortcomings MickG, if  attached myself 2 other people's opinion~ might B hurt by your viewpoint...which on whom's part did U interpret as 'delusion'  pray tell share...
actually the tune issues a bit of a challenge = needless 2 say, this one doesn't hear it the same way U do....don't think U could get my meaning~U don't know what can do But the one who wrote the song does  | |

My interpretation of "Until You're in My Arms Again" is that he is dealing with the loss of his child. Not to say I'm right, but maybe this is his way of keeping peeps on their toes. Only HE knows what a song is written for, and if HE chooses to share in that intimacy, then consider ourselves blessed. To speculate anything other than HIS given word, should be taken just as that.....A BASELESS OPINION!!! Otherwise, just sit back and enjoy what he has chosen to share...who cares what the subject matter is, as long as its FUNKY and doesnt hurt nobody. PEACE!! "yeah I got your package" I don't get that AT ALL. It seems to me to be addressed to a former lover (and, considering this was the time period that he and Mayte were splitting up, it seems perfectly logical to assume that she is the subject of the song). Here's my breakdown: Okay, let me say this quick - before I start 2 cry

But when I tried 2 write U back I bailed See, tryin' 2 express the future, sometimes language fails She sent him some sort of personal letter or what-not that expressed her feelings. He tried to write back, but couldn't find the words (possibly why he is writing the song) And over this time I've learned

Yes I always got the feeling Man O war, Strange but true, silly game, I love u but I don't trust you any more, and Wherever u go, whatever u do were addressed to Mayte. Seems logical since that was around the time their relationship ended.
