What videos are VISUALLY Prince's best? Songs/lyrics/music aside, which of Prince's videos are the best / most impressive?

what about Musicology or Call My name...they were shot beautifully...Musicology had a little story and was done well. Brought him back on the map; now that I think of it, he looks a lot better in "Call My Name" versus Te Amo Coarazon. Look at the videos back to back. The Call My name video looks more expensive and well done. Te Amo looks dated. | |

those look definitely good in the professional sense that they don't look homemade like "Come On" and "U Make My Sunshine". But visually, in terms of concept and originality I don't think his "performance" videos are striking. | |

One that sticks out in my mind straight away was when they premiered "my name is prince" on mtv. Damn, us kids were talking aobut it for days. Particually the girls. We were only about 7. We thought it was the coolest.
"he is such a rebel" was what one girl said if i remember. Damn, that video was so daring. And stupid

Diamonds and Pearls....I just loved the beautiful building they were in and that marble floor! Visually I loved how it went from black and white to color.
Theives in the Temple...honestly the colors, kinda like a blue aura and it was very dark and mysterious just like the song. Plus the dancing on the roof top was so interesting. Oh yeah and that outfit....I loved the belly chain he was wearing sitting on his hip! Te Amo Corozon...visaully stunning! Beautiful colors and I love the sceane where they look at eachother and jump in the pool together. | |
