Any1 figure out why the beginning of Te Amo Corazon is so familiar???

Hint:

song and video rumored to feature Miles Davis....circa 1987
The greatest live performer of our times was is and always will be Prince.

I already pointed out a possible Mia Bocca connection on another thread (http://www.prince.org/msg/7/170594) and nobody responded!

jusr pop in your copy of Under The Cherry Moon, and I believe you'll hear it after Christopher Tracy sees Mary Sharon at the party, and she tells asks her friends for info on him.

I think this is the 12" of Mia Bocca

It reminds me a little of George Michael's Jesus To A Child - I think it's the descending, Latin-style chord sequence that does it.

And then, oddly, it brings If I Ever Fall In Love by Shai to my mind. Don't ask me why!! (Although, I am thinking that a Latin version of that song, with a similar rhythm/tempo to TAC would be quite a cool summer hit.....)

Hmmm.... I only have the CD of the latter, but I'd love to hear that. Y'know, I think you're allowed to post up to 30 seconds of a song before record companies get pissed.... (hint, hint!)
