Today Madonna was a special co-host on BBC Radio and they had a segment where she chose one song to play and tell a story about why she chose it.

She chose "When Doves Cry" and said she first heard it right after she got her first record deal.
She said it made her cry because it was such a powerful song, and that it made her realize how much music can affect you.

After the song played, she said she had gone to Minneapolis earlier in her career, to his "purple house" (joking), to work with him.
She said he was very shy, and it took a few days to break through his shyness so they could collaborate.

She made references to the fact that he is a genious but can be socially inept. It was kind of cool.
