I love this song! It's so bare bones funk dripping with sexuality! The fact that the bootleg is not perfect audio quality just makes it sound dirtier and more nasty.

It's one of my favorite unreleased tracks. First of all, the melody reminds a little of a classical themes like Ode to Joy, and it's appropriately triumphant in spirit. Second, the production is raw and full of growling synths and it gets your attention right away. Third, it is a fairly extended song but it stays inventive throughout, evevy little scream, growl and wail at the right place It's too bad the music stayed unreleased. Jill Jones' version doesn't do it for me.

I LOVE this song! It's so raw, sexual and downright funky! I hope that one day, the world gets to hear it but for now it's a GREAT unreleased gem .

Was it Darlin Nikki that replaced it on the Purple Rain soundtrack?
