Mr7

The new arrangement by Clare really adds flavour to the song.

I have always enjoyed his contributions to Prince's music.

anything that gives prince more resources and $$$ is something that's eventually good for the fans. ideally, anyway.

Yes, that's what I was hoping for after his tour pulled in so much last year. Doesn't surprise that he can afford to have David Hampton redo his entire studio, have Salma direct and Clare do his magic over at O'Henry studios. Hearing the song, money has had an impact.

Dare I say that you're opinion is biased, my dear?

Well, there are herds of fans that Clare Fisher helped to drive away that aren't here to give their opinions because classical music was the last straw for them and they told Prince "good ridance". They don't even know Clare Fisher's name. All they know is it was classical music and there is nothing more "uncool" than classical music.

When Prince was in the mainstream and at his biggest, the main people that bought his records was the young crowd. Actually, the young crowd has always and still is the main record buying public since the rock and roll era began. How many people of this age group do you see racing to the record store to buy classical music? The few that do like classical music usually keep it to themselves because they would be labeled as "dorks" or "geeks" by their peers.
