Do you usually agree with Prince's choices of lead singles?

If not, what songs would you have chosen instead?

Yes,but I think he should have released Adore from Sign O The Times and Housequake. Lovesexy Shoulda been a Single I think. Come was TOTALLY DISSED and his ORIGINAL 18 AND OVER BETTER VERSION of COME.....I know there was a PROBLEM with WARNER'S.... SUCH A GREAT ALBUM should POSSIBLY be RE-RELEASED Somehow.... Woulda released Another single or 2 from MUSICOLOGY. I think PRINCE'S ALBUMS have even MORE SALES POTENTIAL.

Post-Batdance, no.

I would've done:

We Can Funk
Cream
7
Billy Jack Bitch
Chaos and Disorder
Sex in the Summer
Baby Knows
and whatever song works better than Corazon!

Yep, but I feel that the title track itself was the best choice of lead single. Actually, I agree with all the choices up til Emancipation or so. Songs like Jam of the Year,Sex In the Summer,Get Yo Groove On or In This Bed I Scream I feel would have made choices than (the though beautiful)cover of Betcha By Golly Wow.

Also, I feel that So Far,So Pleased and Hot Wit U(remix) as double lead singles aimed at the Pop and R&B charts respectively(videos finished and released on time!)would have made a much stronger impact than TGRES.

Betcha By Golly, Wow! was the absolute DUMBEST choice for a lead single I've ever seen. With all of the hot tracks on Emancipation, he chose arguably one of the more forgettable ones and, dare I say it, it wasn't even a good cover, IMHO.

There's no way anyone can say Te Amo Corazon is a bad choice for lead single until we've heard the entire album, but in general terms, the track itself is rather weak. But hey, bad songs climb the charts when the money of the record labels talks, and Universal has lots of $$$ to throw at this project, so we'll see.....

Ya Right about his Emancipation choice..I think Jam Of The Year Shoulda Definitely been a Lead off single. Emancipation is Weird cause he Definitely Toured and Did TONS OF SHOWS But the Singles were Kinda an ODD CHOICE..However it Probably Worked with all the TOURING and PROMOTION. Once Again PRINCE doing things his Maybe UNCONVENTIONAL WAy...BUT So is PRINCE VERY UNCONVENTIONAL. And I do FEEL he is TRYING to ENTER the LATIN MARKET which is DEFINITELY OVERLOOKED but GAINING ALOT of MOMENTUM Lately ....???? Will Prince Ever be singing in SPANISH?
