Where was the terrible Brazil defence?

England haven't achieved much overall, terrible against Sweden and Nigeria, won by questionable penalty against Argentina and Denmark were just poor.

I agree 100%, though tactically Brazil played a poor match.

Let's see, England faced a 10 man Brazil squad missing two of their star players, and still couldn't pull back a second goal! Cracking!

I'm torn betwwen Germany and USA. On one hand I'd like USA to stuff Germany, but on the other hand USA do too well in too many sports and I'd like a European side to kick their arse !!

Heh heh well as has been already stated, the best team won. Comiserations England fans, it's tough when your team don't bother their arse trying to play a decent game sad

I was cheering on Brazil anyway. Not out of some petty prejudice (if England played well and deserved a victory, I wouldn't begrudge them that) but mainly because of how very bloody arrogant the press and TV coverage as been, and how ungracious they are in their victories. If they'd won, we'd never hear the end of it. Thank goodness they are going home.

Now all you England fans don't get too downhearted, just sit back and enjoy the rest of the tournament. Looking forward to Germany vs USA today ...

I have mixed feelings about this match: I prefer Brazilian football to English football, but on the other hand Brazil didn't really deserve to win against Belgium. Belgium has been screwed when the ref rejected the header by Wilmots after 40 minutes.
I think the Belgian team was ready for revenge against England sad.

Yeah Belgium was unlucky ... most of the European teams have had a tough time of it in the world cup! Belgium have a great team, I could see them beating England. Too late now tho!

My my, so many anti-English feelings.

Terrible pity that the team couldn't go on further and bring much joy to the country. One personally feels regret that we went no further. Never mind though, young team. Next time...
RIP sad

This is getting very tired...

You live in Britain, so obviously British TV is going to pretty optomistic of our chances. That's not arrogance, that's just getting in the spirit of the competition.

In response to usual and quite boring anti English messages I would just like to be the first to add that it's a shame the US got knocked out by the Germans later today, unlucky lads, brads and chads you done your country proud (even though most don't seem to give a shit!)

In't sarcasm great?
