G-spot

The Prince version is sooooo cool! I love this song. It is so eighties! I know this song had nothing to do with Apollonia but I still get a mental image of her when I hear this song.

What do you think of? biggrin

I love this song! It's so bare bones funk dripping with sexuality! The fact that the bootleg is not perfect audio quality just makes it sound dirtier and more nasty.

I LOVE shitty sounding bootlegs! It makes them sound authentic and like you're not supposed to hear them. My "Dance Electric" sounds shitty. but i LURVE it

News: Prince pulls his head out his ass in the last moment.
Bad News: Prince wasted too much quality time doing so.

It's one of my favorite unreleased tracks. First of all, the melody reminds a little of a classical themes like Ode to Joy, and it's appropriately triumphant in spirit. Second, the production is raw and full of growling synths and it gets your attention right away. Third, it is a fairly extended song but it stays inventive throughout, evevy little scream, growl and wail at the right place It's too bad the music stayed unreleased. Jill Jones' version doesn't do it for me.

I LOVE this song! It's so raw, sexual and downright funky! I hope that one day, the world gets to hear it but for now it's a GREAT unreleased gem biggrin .
I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

Was it Darlin Nikki that replaced it on the Purple Rain soundtrack?

Girl, you IM me and i'll send it to you. Goodness. I always thought it sounded like the theme music to some crime drama that came on late at night. And Prince was this private eye and on every episode Vanity came in with a case for him because she was marrying these old rich men and killing them for their money and she'd act like it was someone else killin her husbands off and she'd go to Prince and ask him to solve the case and promise him he'd get paid large sums or money but at the end of every episode they ended up in bed together. or something.

LOL come to think of it, it's sounds like a theme tune to a medical drama e.g. ER or in britain, Casualty!
