Hello all,

I have given the ONA cd away to some1 who had helped me out when i was searching for something for FREE.
First of all i really didn't want this to be a contest or like a essay type thing. when i come here i just hear alot of people complain about things that i don't see fit to complain about.
So i wanted to give it to someone who would appreciate it and not complain over little dumb shit.
It's also funny how when iwas just trying to spread the love ASSHOLES gave me slack about it.
Actually it was quite entertaining-to say the least.
but in any case i have met some really cool people here and once i get my cd burner working again i have alot of rare prince stuff that i will also give away for free becuz i consider this a pretty cool community.
But i do appreciate the compliments i got from some and i hope that we could do some exchanges or watever in the futer.

I can't believe people would give you slack for that. You were giving it away when you could have probably made half of your membership back.

Truth be told, I'm still amazed somebody would GIVE away a somewhat rare Prince CD.

I guess it just goes to show you us Prince fans aren't ALL bad...

It's funny how when u offer ur opinion 2 some, all u get is a steady stream of name-calling and "fuck you's"... but that's okay, as it did not sway me from my opinion.

For the record, I got a lot of orgnotes from people who supported my stance, but were 2 afraid 2 voice their opinion on the thread, so I ate up all the criticism 4 all of them, I don't mind.

I still stand behind my belief that if u truly want 2 do something unselfish, then just do it; don't ask 4 anything in return. Who really knows who's more deserving than others, why place urself in that position?

As I said b4, I thought the initial idea of giving the disc away was a beautiful thing, the way u went about it threw me off... I voiced my opinion, and u responded. I accept that. It's over.

By the way, who did u give it 2?

In all honesty, our common musical taste is what brought us here. I haven't heard of u b4...but, I think ur initial desire 2 do something nice was admirable.

If I came off as an "asshole", then I apologize. I would hope that if u could step off ur pedestal and glance my way, u would see that I'm really a nice guy.

It's just that I thought the "send me an orgnote and whoever's more sincere will get the disc" type of request was not totally in the spirit of giving.

Go ahead, continue 2 mock or slam me, I really don't care. But know that I did not waiver from my initial stance. I stand by my belief in the true power of giving.

i figured that alot of people would want something if it was free.espscially when it had to do with prince.
I'm not on a pedelstal and it just a shocke that you responded by saying just give it to the first person who responded when i state i was at work so just orgnote me.
