I liked "Wild at Heart" and "Blue Velvet"

"Gummo" is the weirdest movie I've ever seen in my life, but I liked it.

Did you hate "Lost Highway" as well?

His non-linear stuff is pretty difficult for most people to tolerate... like the fact that Fred Madison turned into Pete Dayton in Lost Highway and how Diane Selwyn turned into Betty Elms and Rita turned into Camilla Rhodes in "Mulholland Dr."

The fact that he is a surrealist makes it possible for him to change the names of characters, as in Mulholland Dr. or even change the ACTOR and name of the character as in "Lost Highway."

Bunuel used two separate actresses to play the same woman in "That Obscure Object of Desire" and had a third woman overdub the dialog.

Surrealist films are not for everyone.

I think Prince would wonder why a topic has got 400 votes when only three people have posted on it. And he would certainly find it annoying that he is not able to vote for his own thread as I found today.

Now that you mention it, that is pretty damned annoying... I wanted to rate this topic and give it five stars, but I can't!

sad

You actually can vote on your own thread...
You don't even have to be a member of this community/site/club, whatever you want to call it, to vote
To do so, just don't log in and go to your thread...it gives you the option of rating the topic anybody on the net can come to this site and read any thread, without an account, and vote on it...and yes, repeatedly if that's what the y wanted to do.

A fine point... that does take some motivation and effort...
