Lilo and Stitch... I am taking my son to see that one tomorrow...

It will certainly be better than Scooby Doo.

What is a star anyway if it doesn't have Azure in front?

Seriously I think of ratings the same way I do about Org Notes, who cares!

If it does not require any acting or dead people in the snow, probably.

They could have used CGI to put Prince in the movie... that would have been good.

He is doing the soundtrack. If Prince was doing the CGI he could put those 3 little eggs in as well.

No joke, I actually thought rating a thread low would get rid of it...kind of like the nielsen ratings. --it could happen!

Wouldn't that be a good idea: "I'm leaving the org...gasp..spew...and who gives a shit anymore?!" --> rate it low for stupidity and it goes away, bye bye.

Neat idea, but any fool with some time on his hands could delete any post that they didn't like for whatever reason...

Now I KNOW that you are GREAT!!!

In case you never noticed, David Lynch is one of my heroes!

Mulholland Dr. was an excellent movie and I have finally figured out just about all of the symbolism in the movie.

I loved that movie! That's the only Lynch movie that I've seen (I think)...but what an excellent film!! I've only watched it twice...but I was pretty much dead on in my view of the movie from discussing it with others. There are a couple of things I know I missed both times. The red pillow at the beginning and the cowboy talking at the end. If you find the time...e-mail me with what you've discovered. What a trip. Are most of his films like that?

His films are not all like that one, but they are always great... barring Dune.

Lost Highway is very much like Mulholland Dr.
Blue Velvet is much more linear, but still great.
Eraserhead is Eraserhead.

The Cowboy is pretty much the exact same character as the Mystery Man character in Lost Highway... I like to watch both movies back-to-back... for some reason they make more sense that way.

"Time to wake up, pretty girl" - The Cowboy

That was a VERY telling line.

Oh for Christ's sake, are we back to "Mullholland Drive" again? I'm afraid both of you, whose opinions I normally respect, are on heroin if you enjoyed that godawful pile of pig shit. That flick is, without a doubt, the worst thing I have wasted 2 hours of my life on in many years, and God knows, I've wasted more than a few.

People: DO NOT LISTEN TO THIS BULLSHIT! Unless you like having your skull fucked and basically being bored for 2+ hours and wondering what the fuck is going on or waiting for anything resembling a plot to ever develop, avoid this insulting godawful piece of shit at all costs. I STILL try to convince the store that rented it to me that they owe me a credit on my account for charging me to watch this thing.

Ice, normally I'm in tune with your opinions and such, but you are WAY out of bounds recommending this heap of mental masturbation to anyone who remotely values thier time or who wants to like a movie on any level whatsoever.

Did I mention it sucked? And don't give me any bullshit about how imaginative and "non-hollywood" it is. I like my fair share of wierd shit, but I prefer that it has point.

You lose 2 stars for even mentioning it.

It really does have a point, but it is pretty damned hard to understand... I watched it about 5 or 6 times before I really started to understand all of the symbolism and such...

David Lynch is CERTAINLY not for everyone... Hell, he's certainly not for MOST people. He is a surrealist filmmaker and his stories are sometimes not linear at all... he is very much like Bunuel at times.

I can't argue with anyone who didn't like the movie, because it is absolutely not for everyone and is definitely not an easy to understand film.
