I hate when Prince has new stuff out or a concert in the works. That means that I have to get all "agro" over how many dates I'm going to attend. Will I see the shows in L.A. or Sacramento as well. I also have to try to find out where the afterparty is going to be at (headache). Now I have to find out what the outtakes of the new album are and where to get them.

It's a huge headache for me.....

Poor baby. Take some aspirin and thank your lucky stars you're able to have such mundane worries.

Press conferences are seldom shown on TV.
There may be some clips on the entertainment shows.

Am I the only one that was really disappointed by the little MUSIC played on the VH1 teaser???!!! I'm very skeptical at this point (and I'm actually normally quite positive and optimistic...)

The bbc website now has a bit on Prince signing the new deal with Universal:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/h...523776.stm

Singer Prince has signed a distribution deal with major label Universal to handle his new album 3121, which is released early next year.
The album is the follow-up to the 47-year-old's acclaimed comeback album Musicology, which was released in 2004.

Prince enjoyed his greatest success with Warner Bros, which released albums Purple Rain and Sign O' The Times.

However, he fell out with Warner in the early 1990s and performed with the word "slave" on his face.

The singer changed his name to an unpronounceable symbol and The Artist Formerly Known As Prince.

After leaving Warner, he released a series of albums on independent labels, including his own record label, NPG Records.

He later released 1999's Rave Un2 the Joy Fantastic on Arista Records and last year Sony subsidiary Columbia distributed Musicology.

Star director

Meanwhile, the video for Prince's new single Te Amo Corazon (I Love You Sweetheart), has been directed by Hollywood actress Salma Hayek.

"Salma heard the song and came up with the original concept," Prince said in a statement.

He added: "Salma is the most thoughtful, attentive director I have ever worked with. An absolute joy."
