Anthony Hamilton -- Soulful and smooth, Anthony Hamilton got his start at age ten singing in his church choir. The Charlotte, NC, native made the move to New York City in 1993 and has now become the new master of old-school soul, drawing comparisons to R&B legends Bill Withers and Bobby Womack.

Anna Nalick -- This charming newcomer writes her feisty pop tunes with no formal training, just a love of music. From the age of thirteen, Anna Nalick was rewriting the lyrics to tunes by Green Day, Nirvana and Matchbox Twenty. She has since honed the craft of storytelling and this singer/songwriter showcases her own poignant music on her debut Wreck of the Day.

James Blunt -- This ex-soldier has gone from riding in tanks to topping the UK charts with the ballad "You're Beautiful," that Elton John has compared to his own hit "Your Song."
